The graph below clearly illustrates that atmospheric CO2 and temperature proceed lockstep.
Even if we stopped adding CO2 to the atmosphere today, most models predict that temperature would increase by at least another 2 degrees C by the end of this century – and would probably continue to rise for several centuries after that. |
